You & yours
are invited to a wedding under the big sky
Avery & Jack

We're getting hitched

Till we say I do

Somewhere between Jack's first terrible attempt at two-stepping and Avery finally teaching him properly, we fell for each other, and for this valley.
Come spend a weekend with us under the big Montana sky: barbecue and string lights, a meadow at golden hour, and a barn dance that goes until the stars come out.
Avery & Jack

A few stitches in the story so far.

2019
A friend's bonfire in Bozeman, one guitar, and a very off-key round of Wagon Wheel.

2019
Coffee at sunrise on a fallen log by the Gallatin. Neither of us is a morning person.

2021
Two thousand miles in an old pickup, one flat tyre, and zero regrets.

2022
A little white house with a crooked picket fence and a porch made for sunsets.

2023
A rescue pup in a red bandana who now runs the household.

2025
A canoe on a glassy mountain lake, a ring Jack nearly dropped overboard, and a yes.

Three days, one valley, all of you.

What to Wear
Your best boots are encouraged. Think pressed denim with a sharp jacket, prairie dresses, bolo ties and good hats. The ceremony is on grass and evenings get chilly, so bring a layer. Please leave white to the bride.

Fly into Bozeman Yellowstone International (BZN). It's about an hour's drive to the ranch.
We'll run shuttles from the airport on Thursday and Friday. Add your flight to your RSVP.
We've held rooms at a lodge ten minutes from the ranch. Book by August 1 to get our rate.

Your company is the best gift we could ask for. If you'd like to give something more, we've put together a small registry and a fund for our honeymoon in Patagonia.

The ceremony is on a mown meadow and the barn is about a five-minute walk across the pasture on a gravel path. Stilettos will sink, so boots, block heels or flats are your friends.
